A collet is needed for each different diameter of electrode. All collets fit into the spindle adapter and are held secure by a chuck lock nut. Electrodes larger than .312 diameter come with a 2-inch shank that will adapt to the A1504 -312 collet. Please note your electrode and collet will be the same size. Electrodes from .020" to .035" will use the A1515 pin vice AND the A1504-312 collet to hold the pin vice.
